However, education has not changed at the pace the world needs it to. It continues to «produce» students as it did during the Industrial Revolution between the 18th and 19th centuries. Back then, factory workers were needed, where everyone went through the same motions. Today, students have to go through the same tests in order to meet standards that someone has set as valid. But our modern world demands variety and innovation and the school must offer students this space to be able to be different and show their individual talents.
I am convinced that, apart from many other factors, our school distinguishes itself from many others by the freedom it gives students to explore, experiment and express themselves on topics they consider important through the various projects we offer at all four levels: Kindergarten, Grundschule, Mittelstufe and Oberstufe.

A selection committee will be in charge of selecting, from among all the short films submitted, those that will participate in the XXIII Certamen Universitario de Cortometrajes. The decisions of the selection committee will be final.
The participants authorize the organizing committee to use excerpts of the short films for its diffusion in any media in order to promote the contest. Likewise, our center may use photographs of the films and directors in the press and other media.
