Club General Belgrano is an Argentine social and sports club from the city of Santa Rosa, La Pampa. It was the first club in the city to be founded on April 28, 1919, so on April 28, 2019 it reached its centenary.[5] It is one of the most important clubs in the province.

It participated in the 2014/15 Argentine Cup where it defeated Ferro de General Pico by 1-0 in the first instance and was eliminated in the second stage after losing on penalties against Juventud Unida de San Luis.[1] It is one of the most important clubs in the province.

From a meeting of teachers and students, the name of Club Defensores de Belgrano, which was going to be for the school, was denied because another school already had that name.

The land where the club is located was acquired in 1929. It is located in the neighborhood of Villa Alonso, in the block delimited by Belgrano Avenue and Paldino, Larrea and Tucumán streets. The property was originally used as a sports field.

In this context, the Liga Cultural was invited to participate with one of its teams. Who accepted the invitation was Belgrano, who established a partnership with Atlético Santa Rosa and thus participated in the Torneo Argentino A 1995-96.

Deportivo Mac Allister defeated 5 to 1 the team of AFA players from La Pampa in a friendly match played for the benefit of UNICEF. The team from Laborde played in great form showing a game of touch and rotation that was lethal for their opponent.

The first half ended 1-0 with a goal by Lucas Vistarop who scored in front of the goalkeeper after a nice play. In the second half, the changes that boosted the team’s performance came and Sebastián Guenchual in 2 opportunities (the second one, a header to the angle), Claudio Segurado after a counterattack, and Wendy Benvenutto in a masterful definition entering from the right and with a left-handed inside face, put the ball in the angle.

The participating clubs were Boca, River, Estudiantes, Argentinos Juniors, Banfield and Tigre; and the categories from 1989 to 1998. The players chosen for final trials in Buenos Aires are: Tigre: 13, Estudiantes: 23, Boca: 17, Banfield: 17, Argentinos Juniors: 13 and River Plate: 12.

The highlight of the afternoon was the 4th division teams, where Depo arrived at the stadium on Route 5 with a three-unit difference over their pursuer All Boys, who arrived at the stadium with aspirations of reaching the lead. But it was just that: aspirations, since the Depo, literally beat their rival defeating them in an unappealable way.
